Markings akin to alien glyphs reverberate within this vivid light blue cabochon, known as Larimar or Pectolite. Found only in the Dominican Republic, Larimar was given its name in 1974 by Miguel Mendez, a member of the US Peace Corp. He combined his daughter's name Larissa with "mar", the spanish word for sea. A potent stone for earth healing, it emits energies of love and truthfulness. Stimulating to the Heart, Throat, Third eye and Crown Chakras, allowing one to tap into inner wisdom and bring forth positive manifestation.
